The Deluxe Ickle Bubba Mattress benefits from a dual core design – recognising that a firmer surface is ideal for a newborn on one side, whilst a more cushioned surface on the reverse is more toddler-friendly.
As bubbas need help regulating their body temperature the clever Coolmax performance fabric acts as a two-season cover – not only is air circulation improved and humidity reduced for the summer months, it is also quilted for warmth in the winter months.

The mattress measures 140 x 70 x 10cm and is designed to fit Ickle Bubba’s range of cot beds, which are suitable from birth to 5 years. In addition to the two-season Coolmax cover the 190 individual pocket springs are layered with a Tencel moisture-absorbing fabric, soft touch polyester fabric and a natural coconut coir for the firmer ‘baby’ side of the mattress.
The outer cover can be washed at 40° and reshaped whilst damp, but should not be tumble dried or ironed.
All mattresses from Ickle Bubba are designed to comply with current UK Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations, BS 7177:2008 +A1 2011 and BS EN 16980:2017.
